Working in Partnership

Together We Can Achieve More......

HOMETRUTHS is an organisation working within the community, built on the co-operative principles of social responsibility, equality and democracy.

We recognise that domestic violence and abuse is a social disease impacting on the lives of many people from all walks of life.

We value the partners we already work with across Swindon and Wiltshire, however to both improve the lives of those affected by domestic abuse, and make changes within our communities so that survivors and their children are understood, supported and kept safe, it is essential that HOMETRUTHS works in partnership with as many services, agencies and organisations as possible.

As IDVAs (Independent Domestic Violence Advocates) we are very experienced at working in a multi-agency setting, and to enable survivors of domestic abuse to seek help we understand the value of linking in with partner agencies across the statutory, voluntary, commercial and community sectors.

HOMETRUTHS specialises in domestic abuse and we recognise that many survivors have multiple issues to deal with alongside the abuse they experience from partners, ex-partners and family members.  These can include: housing, finances, ill-health, alcohol & drug use, pregnancy & care of children, disability and cultural influences.  We recognise the importance of co-working with professionals from these fields of work and we are keen to develop strong, effective working relationships and networks with other organisations so that together we can make a difference.  Sharing skills and resources, and working collaboratively and co-operatively to contribute to long lasting change and improvements.

If you would like to find out more about the services HOMETRUTHS provides in Swindon and Wiltshire please get in touch by phone or email.

If our work links in with yours, or if you want to find out more about domestic abuse and how it links with your work and you are interested in building strong partnership relationships and feel together we could have an even greater impact on improving the lives of survivors of domestic abuse and their children, please get in touch.
